April Training: Stop the Bleed!

Here’s what you’ll learn in a Stop the Bleed course:

Applying Pressure with Hands:
You’ll discover how to use your hands to apply pressure to a wound, effectively controlling bleeding.

Packing a Wound: Learn the technique to pack a wound to stop bleeding.

Correctly Applying a Tourniquet: Understand the proper way to apply a tourniquet to prevent further blood loss.

By mastering these three techniques, you become an immediate responder, capable of making a life-or-death difference during a bleeding emergency. The person next to a bleeding victim may very well be the one who saves their life.

Bonus Topics!

Also covered during this training will be
“Hands Only” CPR and choking response.
